Triple the fun!

Our triple rooms are just that, a living space with three beds, dressers, desks and closet/wardrobes. Naturally, these rooms are larger in general to accommodate the extra furniture. Just as with our double rooms, beds can be bunked. However, they can not be stacked three-high. Triple rooms are found in corridor-style buildings, meaning that the three roommates share a staff-cleaned bathroom with other students on the floor.

Triple rooms are perfect for a trio of students who desire a large living space without the added cost of one of our apartments. Ram Village does offer three-bedroom apartments. See our pages on single occupancy apartments and double occupancy apartments.  Note that our triple occupancy residence hall rates are the same as our double occupancy residence hall rates.

This room style is not as common as our singles and doubles. Cobb Residence Hall has, by far, the highest number of triples. The rest of our on-campus triples are scattered throughout North Campus, with famed Old East and Old West offering the next highest number of triples. There are no triple rooms in Mid-Campus or South Campus. Those wishing to live in Cobb, Old East or Old West should consider a triple.

Notice: because of the diversity of our buildings, the provided room dimensions are approximations only. Room dimensions vary from room to room so it is not possible for us to provide exact specifications for every room on campus.

If you wish to see the full building floor plan, please visit the student Housing Portal. Keep in mind that only admitted UNC students can access the student Housing Portal via their Onyen and Password.
