Use What’s My Address to find on-campus mailing addresses.
A complete mailing address is required on all MAIL (letters, packages, and overnight deliveries) sent to on-campus residents.
MAIL (letters, packages, and overnight deliveries) is automatically routed to the Package Center zoned for each residence hall. Residents will receive an email from Housing Package Centers (uncpackagecenters@unc.edu) when mail is available for pickup. The email will include the pickup location, hours of operation, and the item tracking number. You will receive a notification for each piece of mail you receive, including letter mail.
It is the responsibility of each resident to pick up their mail within three business days.
Package refrigeration is available for medication. Prior to shipping, please notify uncpackagecenters@unc.edu to arrange for special handling. The University is not responsible for spoiled or ruined items.
Food (such as restaurant deliveries) or groceries ordered via InstaCart, Shipt, Amazon Fresh, Postmates, or other similar same-day delivery services are NOT accepted by the Package Centers or Community Office.
If using these services, residents MUST meet the driver outside their residence hall to accept their delivery.
Morrison (MPC) and Spencer Package Center (SPC) will be open to serve on-campus residents during the summer. Hours of operation are listed below and subject to change. Please refer to your package center notification email for the most up-to-date information.
Hinton James Package Center (HJPC) will be closed temporarily for summer. Students living in residence halls typically served by HJPC (Ehringhaus, Hinton James, Horton, Koury, Ram Village 5, and Taylor) during the academic year can collect their mail (letter mail, packages, and overnight deliveries) from MPC.
All three main-campus Package Centers will be open starting Monday, August 14 with special hours to accommodate residents during Move-In Week.
All Package Centers (HJPC, MPC, and SPC)
Note: All mail delivered to campus before Monday, August 14 must be collected from the original pick-up location cited in your package center notification email. Your mail will not be relocated to the package center that corresponds to your Fall room assignment.
We encourage residents to schedule incoming shipments to arrive on (or after) their anticipated move-in date to avoid any inconvenience and minimize wait times for residents.
Regular Package Center operations will resume on Monday, August 21.
