The Priority Deadline for Incoming First-Year students to apply for housing has been extended to May 29!
It's the most exciting time of the year... housing selection! By applying for 2024-2025 on-campus housing by the priority deadline, you are automatically entered to win one of our unique prizes! We will announce winners via social media.
To be eligible for a prize, you must be a currently registered UNC Chapel Hill student for the 2023-2024 academic year, and have your priority application submitted before a winner is selected. Carolina Housing will randomly select winners from the pool of housing applicants.

Eligibility:
The Sweepstakes is open only to legal residents of the State of North Carolina who are lawful permanent residents and any students lawfully present in the U.S. pursuant to a valid non-immigrant visa, who are the age of majority or older at the time of entry, and who are registered students at University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill (the “University”). A student must have a valid and active housing contract for 2024-2025 to maintain eligibility and receive their prize.
How to Enter:
Students must complete and submit a 2024-2025 Housing Application via MyHousing Portal by and no later than Sunday, Nov. 26, 2023 at 11:59pm EST.
Winner Selection:
Randomly selected winners will be notified via direct email and via posts on our social media channels: Twitter, Instagram and Facebook. A potential winner will have five (5) business day to reply agreeing to accept the prize and confirming full contact information. Failure to confirm and provide the above will signify to Sponsor that the prize has been declined and forfeited for all time and another potential winner will be chosen in random drawings. Once a participant has won a prize, they are not eligible to receive additional prizes in the sweepstakes.
General:
Sweepstakes administration and winner selection and verification will be conducted by the Sponsor whose decisions are final and legally binding. No participant or winner shall have the right to contest any decision by Sponsor or the independent judging organization concerning any aspect of the Sweepstakes or the interpretation of the Official Rules or the determination as to the qualification of entries. By participating in this Sweepstakes, you agree to be bound by these Official Rules.
