Show Off Your Room Photo Contest
Do you take pride in your creatively decorated room or have a layout that’s the envy of your fellow Tar Heels? This is your time to shine! Attach a photo (or photos!) of your room, and Carolina Housing will pick our favorite and award a Lottery Pick to our lucky winner. You and your friends/roommates are welcome to be in the photo, or your décor can be the star, it’s totally up to you!
We will unveil the winner via Carolina Housing social media post and send a direct email to the lucky victor.

Resident Reels Video Competition
Are you itching to record a video with your roommate, giving the world a sneak peek into your awesome room? Or perhaps you want to unveil the best study spot or outdoor gathering area on campus? The possibilities are endless, and the stage is yours! This video contest is all about celebrating your unique style and love for living on campus, so let your creativity run wild.
The rules are simple: your video must comply with Carolina Housing’s policies, ensuring it contains no imagery or objects forbidden on the University grounds. But beyond that, you have the freedom to shape your story in any way you see fit. We recommend a video length of 30 seconds – 4 minutes, but there are no length requirements for your entry. Best video wins!
We will announce our lucky winner on Carolina Housing’s social media on or around November 26th!
