Now that Spring Semester is well under way, here are some fun activities to participate in on campus! Just a few ways you can meet new people and get more involved at Carolina.
Campus Recreation Center
You can join an intramural team, participate in group fitness classes, go rock climbing, and even participate in Carolina Adventures with an outdoor challenge course and zipline. Fitness classes include HIIT, Yoga, Barre, Pilates, dance, core, strength, and more!

Newbie Night at Rams Climbing Wall | https://campusrec.unc.edu/programs/carolinaadventures/climbing/
If you would like to try climbing, then this event is for you! UNC Climbing staff will be there to show you the ropes. This is a great way to stay active and meet new people! Free to attend - first come, first serve! (No registration required).
This event is held once a month on Friday at 8 PM. [01/28, 02/25, 03/25, 04/22]
Morehead Planetarium | https://moreheadplanetarium.org/
Visit the Morehead Planetarium this semester, located right on the edge of campus on Franklin Street. Every Saturday visitors can take a journey through the Carolina night sky through the “Carolina Skies” show. Although “Carolina Skies” is one of the longest-running shows at Morehead Planetarium, the show is never the same twice. UNC students get in free with their ID!
Remember to keep an eye out for flyers in your residence halls and follow your community’s Instagram for upcoming community events. Stay up to date on different group events and be informed of any changes that may occur.
