The Building Services Housing Support Paint Shop is currently recruiting for Summer Painters. This position will last from mid-May through the end of July. Work schedule is Monday-Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm (must be available to work entire shift). This position is responsible for the painting and trim work of residence halls and student family housing apartments on campus during the summer. Position requires ability to understand and follow work orders, instructions, product directions and other written job materials, and understand verbal instructions. Employees are required to adhere to safety requirements by wearing the appropriate personal protective equipment.

Education and Experience
Minimum Education and Experience:
Graduation from high school or equivalent. Experience in the trade(s) areas related to the position’s role may be substituted on a year-for-year basis.
Special Physical and Mental Requirements
Must be able to climb and work from a ladder. Must be able to move objects weighing up to 50lbs. Work may require strenuous physical exertion.
