To ensure your mail is properly delivered to you after you move off campus, you must submit an address change request directly with each company who routinely sends you important mail. Update your mailing address by directly contacting your:
- Bank, Credit Card, Cell Phone Provider
- Monthly Subscriptions (for example: magazines, Hello Fresh, Ipsy, etc.)
- Family & Friends
We strongly suggest you begin this process now, as companies can take several weeks to process said changes. For example, go to your bank’s website and directly update your mailing address. Text your family and friends giving them your updated mailing address. The Chapel Hill Post Office will not fulfill address change requests for on-campus residents nor provide forwarding services. Mail received after you check-out is returned to the sender.
