Ram Village FAQ

What is Ram Village?

Ram Village opened in Fall 2006 and provides undergraduate apartment-style housing to UNC students. The community is comprised of five separate buildings, clustered in two locations: Ram Village 1, 2, and 3 are located between Craige Residence Hall and Craige Parking Deck; Taylor Hall (Ram Village 4) and Ram Village 5 neighbor Hinton James, situated just steps from the Dean E. Smith Center and the Kenan-Flagler Business School.

Apartments are prioritized for upper class students, particularly Seniors and Juniors. The apartments feature private and double occupancy bedrooms with students sharing bathrooms, kitchen, and living room. All apartment communities feature a Community Office, study space, and common laundry and recreation rooms. Ram Village facilities are co-ed with apartments consisting of same-sex roommates.
