The Guest Assistant is a position within UNC Conference Services, a unit within Carolina
Housing. Guest Assistants work under the direction of the Assistant Director of Conference
Services and Conference Services Manager.
The Guest Assistant supports the Conference Services team with the upkeep of guest
apartments and providing top-notch customer service to university guests. Specific duties
include but are not limited to guest apartment prep, conducting inventory, assist with guest
check-ins & check-outs, maintaining orderly storage rooms in multiple locations across campus,
and assisting the AD of Conference Services in preparation of the summer conference season.
Work will be a combination of traditional and non-traditional hours and will include weekends.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
- October 4th – April 27th
- 4 –6 hours/week
- The Guest Assistant will have a valid driver’s license and be able to drive Conference Services’ golf cart & box truck
