Your Community Director (CD) is a full-time master’s level professional staff member who manages the residential area where you live.
He or she supervises the Resident Advisor (RA) staff including the Resident Advisor Mentor (RAM), oversees the desk operations, and supervises the Community Manager (CM). Together, these staff members work to provide a positive living experience for you in your residence hall. CDs maintain regularly scheduled hours in your Community Office and can assist you with any questions or needs.
CDs lead their community in fulfilling the Mission of the Department of Housing & Residential of Education, which is to create an inclusive on-campus housing environment that promotes personal development, citizenship, involvement, and leadership.
