The Residence Hall Association is a student organization that is representative of all students who live on campus. It serves as the governing body of the residence halls. Society of Janus NRHH focuses on highlighting members of the residence hall community who demonstrate outstanding and selfless service to the University’s residence hall community. The purpose of this organization is to encourage leadership, service, and recognition throughout the residence halls and the greater Chapel Hill community. The Department of Housing and Residential Education offer great working opportunities for students on campus. Student can benefit from working within the residence halls because of the versatile roles they play with assisting students with their transition to university life. This is a very rewarding experience due the level of daily interaction you have with students, providing them with a safe place for communication and an open friendship.
