Although the Department of Housing & Residential Education is managed and operated independently of Carolina Dining Services, we encourage residents to consider purchasing a meal plan.  Whether you live in a residence hall or an on-campus apartment community, a meal plan makes it simple and easy to stay well-nourished no matter where your busy schedule takes you.

The two all-you-care-to-eat locations on both north and south campus provide fresh, healthy options from morning to night and serve as central hubs of activity for students to socialize, study and relax. The various other grab-n-go locations such as Ram’s Head Market, Starbucks, Lenior Mainstreet and Alpine Bagel located throughout campus are great for snacks and lighter meals.

Decide whether you’d like to purchase a set number of meals per week or a set number of meals per semester, and supplement with flexible funds on your Dining Flex account for the utmost in convenience.

• Meal plans are purchased online at www.onecard.unc.edu and will appear on your university student account.  Campus housing and meal plans are sold separately.
• Orders will be accepted for the 2009-2010 academic year beginning in early summer 2009 and ending two weeks after classes begin.
