Who is eligible to book accommodations at UNC?
Conference Housing is available to groups with educational objectives for resident conferences, meetings, and seminars being conducted at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill campus. This includes groups which are sponsored by a University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill academic or administrative department or non-University sponsored groups who are conducting approved on-campus programs.

In order to accommodate as many Conference Groups as possible during this time, Conference Operations will rely on the following list for prioritizing conference accommodations.
  1. Summer School Housing
    2. C-TOPS Orientation Program
    3. Special University Sponsored Summer Groups
    4. Faculty/Educational groups with departmental sponsors - These groups will be placed in priority order based on the size of the group. (Larger groups are accommodated first).  Note: Departmental sponsorship means that revenue generated from the conference must revert back to the sponsoring department.
    5. Athletic/Youth groups with departmental sponsorship. Placed in priority order based on the size of the group. Revenue must revert back to sponsoring department
    6. Faculty/Educational groups without department sponsorship (Placed in priority order based on the size of the group)
    7. Athletic/Youth groups without departmental sponsorship (Placed in priority order based on the size of the group)
    8. Any non-University sponsored groups (Must provide one million dollar liability insurance policy)
    9. Casual housing requests.
