Office Assistants

Provides front-line customer service for a residential community. In addition to providing administrative support to the Community Director and Community Manager, the OA answers the phone, greets residents, checks out equipment, provides information and generally assists in the overall operation of the community office. OA's are supervised by the Community Manager, but most shifts require the office staff to work independently.

Administrative experience, a demonstrated commitment to customer service, strong computer skills and attention to detail. Full-time registered student status and good disciplinary and financial standing are required.

Compensation
$7.25 per hour. Most OA's work between 10-15 hours per week. The time commitment is determined by balancing the needs of the office and the individual staff members.

  • If you have applied for another position and already created a profile, enter the site again to update your information as needed.  
  • Next, click on "Job Postings" and select the OA job listing to apply.
  • Once you have submitted a completed application, you will be asked to log back in on March 20th to sign up for an interview on March 24th or 25th.

The OA application opens at various times throughout the year depending on staffing needs. The application will be open until March 20, 2014 for Fall semester 2014 positions. We will fill our staff for the Fall with candidates from this pool first; if there are any vacancies at different points in the year, we will open up the application again. Applications will be accepted and interviews scheduled on a rolling basis until all positions are filled.
