Provides front-line customer service for a residential community. In addition to providing administrative support to the Community Director and Community Manager, the OA answers the phone, greets residents, checks out equipment, provides information and generally assists in the overall operation of the community office. OA's are supervised by the Community Manager, but most shifts require the office staff to work independently.
Administrative experience, a demonstrated commitment to customer service, strong computer skills and attention to detail. Full-time registered student status and good disciplinary and financial standing are required.
$7.25 per hour. Most OA's work between 10-15 hours per week. The time commitment is determined by balancing the needs of the office and the individual staff members.
The OA application opens at various times throughout the year depending on staffing needs. Watch the housing website for details.
Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis until all positions are filled. No formal interview process is available at this time.
If you applied but were not hired, your application will remain in the system. It is important to keep your application active by maintaining your class schedule and availability. If your availability meets the need of a community, that community will contact you to schedule an interview.
